Latinator - a tool for exploring Latin words

This is a tool I made for e.g. picking out a nice-sounding name for your project (something I have found is the most difficult part of any project) or just learning some Latin words. The words are linked by their syllables so you can easily browse the dictionary to find something similar - especially useful in case you have a good name but there already is something named by that exact word.

Examples and ideas

For example, for picking a company name, one would start from something like this (you have probably come across with some of these!):

• excel
• to stand out
• win

And for a software tool (probably aims for one of the adjectives), one would start from something like these:

• fast
• wise
• intellect

Or, simply start from a random word and click until you find a word that suits your needs! You can also pick a phrase and see the other phrases it is linked to by the words.
